Sad news from Nine Stories in Lawrenceville: “Nine Stories will be closing at the end of August, and we’re having a store-wide sale for the next month. Most everything in the shop will be 40% off. Stop by, stock up, and see us before we go!”
Nine Stories opened as a brick-and-mortar bookstore on October 1st, 2016 after soft launching as a local pop-up bookstore. Littsburgh profiled the owners at that time.
Since opening, the bookstore has become a cultural anchor of Upper Lawrenceville (and a jewel in Pittsburgh’s literary scene).
We will miss @ninestoriespgh so much & it's been a privilege having them in our neighborhood for the last two years. Come pay a final visit through August 26! 📚 https://t.co/8EzKEEoKRa
